Nature Through the Eyes of an Artist
Alisha’s connection to nature is at the core of her artistic expression. Each painting is more than just a visual representation; it is a “sacred space,” a reflection of the peace and strength she feels in the wild. For her, the act of painting is a deep, ongoing exploration of light and nature. Her goal is to guide viewers into a contemplative space where they can rediscover their inner world through the beauty of the natural one. A Journey Back to Chelsea
Originally from Ottawa, Alisha Reilly-Roe’s journey has taken her across some of Canada’s most beautiful landscapes. After completing her fine arts degree at Concordia University, she moved west, living and painting in iconic mountain towns like Whistler and Jasper. Her time in these rugged settings undoubtedly influenced her artistic style, which merges the raw power of nature with a sense of introspective calm. In 2015, she returned to Chelsea, where the rolling hills of Gatineau Park once again serve as both her muse and home.
