What to Expect in the Course
The course focuses on developing each child's creativity and artistic expression. Over the four weeks, participants will learn to create three-dimensional forms and sculptures using handbuilding techniques. Projects are crafted to let their imaginations run wild while also honing their abilities. The young artists will explore different ways to add texture and detail to their pieces by carving and stamping, creating unique and personalized sculptures.
And the fun doesn’t stop there. The class will also experiment with color using slips and underglazes. By the end of the program, each child will have pieces glazed in their chosen color, ready for pickup three weeks after the course wraps up. It’s an exciting way for kids to bring their visions to life and take home their very own handmade works of art.
