New Gatineau Race! Run or Walk at Courons Gatineau

Runners and walkers, get ready to lace up your shoes and explore the stunning landscapes of Gatineau like never before! The Gatineau Loppet organization is thrilled to announce the first-ever edition of Courons Gatineau, a brand new running event. Whether you're a beginner, a seasoned runner, or someone who loves a good walk, this event is perfect for everyone.

About Courons Gatineau: River to River

The slogan, “River to River,” says it all! Courons Gatineau celebrates the region's breathtaking waterways, taking participants on a scenic journey along the Ottawa and Gatineau Rivers. Starting from the picturesque Rue Jacques-Cartier, runners and walkers will enjoy beautiful views and vibrant community spirit.

Event Details and Distances

2 km: Perfect for families, beginners, or anyone looking for a short but sweet challenge.
5 km: A great distance for those who want a bit more of a workout while soaking in the beautiful scenery.
10 km: For the more experienced runners, offering a more extended route that includes the enchanting Lac-Leamy Promenade.

Plus, there are big plans for the future, with hopes to add a half-marathon and even a full marathon in the coming years!

This exciting event wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support from the City of Gatineau, Tourisme Outaouais, La Foulée sportive, and the NCC.
